My name is Summer Xiayu Zhao
Xiayu (Summer) Zhao is a research engineer at Tsinghua University and a lead research associate at Tsinghua (SIGS) Digital Architecture and Intelligent Construction Laboratory (DAIC Lab) based in Shenzhen, China. She completed her Master of Architecture studies at Tsinghua University (Beijing) and holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Tianjin University.

Currently, as a research engineer in Tsinghua SIGS, she is developing the large-scale 3D printing technology based on composite (fluid and powder) consumables and practical building materials (concrete) with an interdisciplinary team, and focusing on the establishment of extensible software and hardware platforms and updating corresponding architectural knowledge structures.
